We did it! Thank you for your support

Results are technically still unofficial

I found out late last night that election results are posted on the door of the metro district office. I drove over and saw the unofficial count has been done and I received 154 votes, more than any other candidate.

I am so incredibly grateful for all of your support, especially on a rainy day that I know you would have rather stayed inside for. Thank you for showing up and demonstrating that community engagement matters.

I’m waiting for an answer on when election results become official, and if there’s any chance the results change during that process. Assuming everything does stay the same, my first board meeting will be May 20 at 4 p.m. I hope you can join me as I take my oath of office!

This is just the beginning of the actual work, so this newsletter isn’t going anywhere and I will be learning a lot in the coming weeks to make sure I can best serve you. As always, reach out to me with questions, comments, concerns, or feedback.
